Dr. Aquitania is a board certified neurologist. He received his B.S. degree from the University of California, Berkeley and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He is a University of California Regents and Alumni Scholar, and a Proctor and Gamble Scholar. Dr. Aquitania completed medical school training at the Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois. He did an internship in Internal Medicine at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, and his residency in Neurology was completed at the University of California at Irvine Medical Center, where he was the Chief Resident. He is a member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and he is an associate member of the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Aquitania specializes in the neurological management of diseases of the nervous system and spine, and he has special interests in multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, headache, stroke, and epilepsy. He has a private practice in San Diego, with hospital affiliations at Sharp/Grossmont Hospital, Alvarado Hospital, Scripps East County Hospital, and Sharp Memorial Hospital.
