Dr. Levine is a board certified neurologist. He received a BS degree with honors in biochemistry from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and later obtained a MD degree from the same institution. He graduated with honors and is a lifetime member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Levine went on to complete an internship at Jewish General Hospital in Montreal and a residency in medicine at Baltimore City Hospital. He later completed a surgical residency and a residency in neurology at Bronx Municipal Hospital. Dr. Levine has been an instructor in neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York and Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine, College of Human Medicine, Michigan State University. He has been distinguished by certification to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Neurology); the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (in Neurology) and the American Board of Electroencephalography. Dr. Levine is a member of the American Academy of Neurology (Fellow), the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the Society of Clinical Neurologists, the Epilepsy Foundation of America, the National Headache Association, and a number of other professional organizations. He has been a medical advisor to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Michigan and San Diego, the San Diego Epilepsy Society, and Chairman of the Committee for Stroke (Michigan Association of Regional Medical Programs). Dr. Levine is the former Director of Neurology in the Clinical Neurosciences at Hurley Medical Center, Flint, Michigan. He has actively published in scientific journals and presented scientific papers at national and international meetings.
