David O'Malley, MD

Dr. O’Malley is a board certified physician of internal medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. O’Malley graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and received a medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He did an internship in internal medicine at the San Diego Naval Hospital and completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Centers, including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center, Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and Sepulveda VA Medical Center. Dr. O’Malley has been the Medical Director for the 4^th Marine Regiment, Camp Scwab, Okinawa, and an active physician for the U.S. Naval Hospital in San Diego. He has been a U.S. Naval Flight Surgeon for Aviation, Industrial and Occupational Medicine at Moffett Field Aviation Center and consulting physician at orthopedic centers in Santa Clara and Beverly Hills, California. Dr. O’Malley is the Senior Clinical Consultant for Kennon Shea and Associates Facilities in San Diego, California and is the Medical Director for the Grossmont Rehabilitation Center, Sharp/Grossmont Hospital, La Mesa, California. Dr. O’Malley has been active in research, publications and presentations in physical and rehabilitation medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Congress of Rehabilitation. Dr. O’Malley is an active member of other medical societies and regularly attends the AAPM and R/ACRM annual meetings.
